Drawing with India ink on paper in sanguine, red and black

First work in the ongoing series Warriors.
The red line deliberately divides the work in the middle of the picture into a light upper and a lighter one
dark lower half.
It should represent and connect a clear cut for a new phase of life
with a positive aggressiveness be a challenge to negative circumstances.
The red chalk in the lower half of the picture makes it look even more grounded, while
it makes the top half look even lighter. The tips of the hair lead the gaze of the
Beholder always looks up from the darker face into the bright white.
The name Dałaa comes from the traditional language of the West Apache and means
"One".
